William Phillips graduated with his Bachelors of Science from the University of Georgia in 1965 and began practicing pharmacy immediately after. In 1966, he married Pat Gordon and made Vidalia their home. They have two children; Angela and Gordon. In 1972, William decided to buy a practice that became what we know today as Phillips Pharmacy. After living and working in the Vidalia community for 44 years, William decided to retire. He occasionally drops by to visit with customers and staff.
Heather Hall Gourley graduated from Vidalia High School in 1989 and received her Bachelor’s of Science from Auburn University in 1994. Shortly after, she married Greg Gourley and had two children; Ben and Ginny Grace. They have lived in Vidalia for over three decades. Heather is dedicated to serving her community not only in the pharmaceutical capacity but donates her time to many civic groups and events.
Rusty Combs was born and raised in Florida but moved north to attend the University of Georgia. He received his Bachelors of Science in 1991. While attending UGA, he met Angela; the daughter of William Phillips. After graduation, Rusty worked in retail pharmacy in Savannah for two years. In 1994 he moved to Vidalia and married Angela. They have two children: Emily and Claire. Rusty and Angela; who is a pharmacist as well, are active members of the community they serve.
